Teresa Mangum is Professor of Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies and English and Director of the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies at the University of Iowa. She is fascinated by past Victorian animals and future careers for humanities PHDs, as part of a Mellon Humanities for the Public Good project.
